Job summary

White Cap is seeking a motivated inside sales professional in the Phoenix area to generate new opportunities and coordinate with other departments to fulfill orders. You will respond to customer requests via phone, email, and fax, prepare proposals and quotations, and manage pricing using the price matrix while aiming for target margins.

Qualifications

• HS Diploma or GED strongly preferred.
• Generally 2–5 years of experience in area of responsibility.
• Experience in inside sales is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Prospects for new sales opportunities.
• Generates leads via outbound calling and e-mail.
• Provides product pricing by consulting the price matrix, as well as other complex tables, to determine the appropriate price.
• Develops code directives for certain product while maintaining target margin goals.
• Prepares and submits proposals.
• Generates oral and written quotations.
• Procur es and maintains inventory.
• Monitors to ensure proper inventory turns.
• Resolves customer service issues.
• Tracks open sales orders.
• Performs follow-up to ensure timely shipment of materials and customer satisfaction.
