Job summary

Rexel USA, a leading electrical products distributor, is seeking an Inside Sales Representative to join the Mayer team in Charleston, SC. The role focuses on proactive inside sales and marketing to grow profitable orders and build lasting customer relationships.

You will handle quotes, orders, product knowledge, and prospect for new accounts within a defined territory, using digital tools and CRM to support outside sales and drive organic growth.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of customer service, sales, or electrical distribution experience.
• High School or GED is required.

Responsibilities

• Process telephone orders with prices, delivery specs and payment terms.
• Assist outside sales by processing priority transactions.
• Use company digital tools to sell, market, promote and demonstrate products.
• Prospect for new accounts within a defined geographical territory.
• Manage a defined customer base and maintain relationships.
• Learn customer operations to identify objectives and resolve issues using root-cause analysis.
• Process quotations/proposals and provide follow-up through purchasing cycle.
• Report market and customer data to management.
• Participate in product meetings and training.
• Pursue product applications using internal resources.
• Other duties as assigned.
