Rexel USA, a leading distributor of electrical products, is seeking an Inside Sales Representative to join the Mayer team in Charleston, SC. The role focuses on proactive inside sales via phone or email, building relationships, processing quotes and orders, and growing the customer base.

You will prospect for new accounts, support outside sales, use ERP/CRM tools, and participate in product training to deepen knowledge.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of customer service, sales, or electrical distribution experience.
• High School or GED is required.
• Strong communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Process telephone orders by quoting prices, delivery specs, and payment terms and suggest substitutes when appropriate.
• Assist outside sales by processing priority transactions.
• Use digital tools to sell, market, promote products to customers.
• Prospect for new accounts within a defined territory.
• Maintain customer relationships and provide follow-up on purchases.
• Gather market intelligence and report trends to management.
• Support product knowledge through meetings and training.
