Job summary

Echo Electric, a leading electrical distributor, is seeking an Inside Sales Representative in Iowa to nurture existing client relationships and deliver outstanding customer service. You will quote products, process orders, and coordinate with logistics to ensure timely fulfillment.

The ideal candidate has at least two years of sales or distribution experience, strong communication skills, and a customer-focused mindset in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• At least two years of sales, electrical or distribution experience and/or product knowledge.
• Commitment to high ethical standards in professional behavior.
• Strong customer service orientation.
• Ability to perform basic mathematical functions.
• Time management and organizational skills, with ability to manage multiple priorities.
• Attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to sit and/or stand as needed.
• Clear communication and listening skills.

Responsibilities

• Understand client needs and requirements to recommend electrical products or solutions that meet their needs.
• Provide product information, pricing, and quotes to clients by phone and email in a timely, accurate manner.
• Enter, track, bill, and expedite orders, including stock transfers when appropriate.
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with existing clients to drive repeat business.
• Collaborate with the sales team to achieve sales targets and develop strategies.
• Coordinate with logistics and other departments to ensure smooth order processing and fulfillment.
• Stay up-to-date on industry trends and market developments to better serve customers.
• Participate in training to gain electrical product knowledge and apply it to customer needs.
