Job summary

Rexel USA, including Mayer, seeks an Inside Sales Representative to join the Mayer team in Charleston, SC. You will manage proactive inside sales via phone and email, foster customer relationships, process quotes and orders, and expand organic growth from the current customer base.

You will develop product knowledge, respond to technical questions, and collaborate with outside sales to prioritize transactions while using CRM and ERP tools.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of customer service, sales, or electrical distribution experience
• High School or GED - Required

Responsibilities

• Process phone quotes and orders with pricing, delivery terms, and payment options
• Support outside sales by handling priority transactions
• Use digital tools to market, demonstrate products, answer technical questions, and upsell to new or existing customers
• Prospect for new accounts within the Charleston, SC territory
• Maintain and grow a defined customer base through relationships
• Identify customer objectives and resolve issues quickly using root-cause analysis
• Prepare quotations and follow up through the purchasing cycle
• Report market trends, pricing, competitors and products to management
• Participate in product meetings, trainings and development activities
• Pursue product applications leveraging internal resources and vendor support
• Perform additional duties as assigned
