Job summary

Rexel USA is seeking an Inside Sales Representative for its Lexington, KY team. You will handle proactive inside sales via phone or email, manage quotes and orders, and grow profitable sales by expanding relationships with existing customers and prospecting new accounts.

Your success hinges on building customer relationships, learning product knowledge, and using digital tools to promote, demonstrate products and close orders. The role offers growth in a large national distributor.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of customer service, sales, or electrical distribution experience.
• High School or GED required.

Responsibilities

• Process telephone orders and quote prices and terms.
• Support outside sales by processing priority orders.
• Use digital tools to sell, market, promote and demonstrate products.
• Prospect for new accounts within territory.
• Manage customer base and nurture relationships.
• Identify customer objectives and resolve issues with root-cause analysis.
• Prepare quotations and follow up through the purchasing cycle.
• Report market, pricing, and product trends to management.
• Attend product meetings and training to maintain knowledge.
• Pursue product applications with internal resources and vendor reps.
• May perform other branch functions as needed.
• Other duties as assigned
