Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 1+ year related inside-sales experience preferred.
• Ability to move 100 pounds with a dolly.
• Strong counter presence; able to engage directly with customers for a large portion of the day.
• Strong customer-service attitude.
• Proficient with MS Office and basic computer skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with inventory and product allocations.
• Familiarity with pool supplies, parts, chemicals, or pool construction considered helpful.
• Minimum age 18 years.

Responsibilities

• Establishes relationships with customers via phone or walk-in visits, representing the company professionally.
• Processes, pulls, and distributes customer products quickly and efficiently.
• Handles questions and complaints in a timely and professional manner.
• Accurately performs data entry of sales orders to generate invoices for pickup or delivery.
• Secures payment of invoices, or obtains credit authorization in accordance with company policy.
• Evaluates and determines disposition of warranty items according to manufacturer’s warranty policy and customer needs.
• Estimates delivery dates based on vendor production and delivery schedules.
• Assists in receiving, shipping, and general warehouse duties.
