POOLCORP is hiring an Inside Sales Associate in Wilmington, NC. You will assist customers at the counter and over the phone, process orders, and help ensure a smooth sales and pickup experience. The role supports showroom and basic warehouse operations in a fast-paced, team environment.

The position emphasizes customer service, product knowledge, and reliability; experience with pool supplies is helpful. Working hours are Mon-Fri, with a strong emphasis on teamwork and growth opportunities

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older.
• Excellent customer service attitude and interaction with customers throughout the day.
• Strong computer skills and ability to use basic computer systems and MS Office.
• Ability to lift up to 100 lbs with a dolly.
• Preferred: High school diploma or GED and 1+ years inside sales experience, familiarity with pool supplies.

Responsibilities

• Assist walk-in and phone customers with questions, orders and service needs.
• Enter sales orders, generate invoices, and process payments or credit authorizations.
• Recommend products and solutions based on customer needs and availability.
• Evaluate warranty items per manufacturer policy and customer needs.
• Provide an estimated delivery date based on vendor schedules.
• Pull, stage, and distribute orders; occasionally use an RF scanner.
• Restock showroom merchandise and support warehouse duties as needed.
