POOLCORP, the world’s leading distributor of outdoor living products, is seeking an Inside Sales Associate in Riverside, CA. In this fast-paced, customer-facing role, you will assist customers at the counter and over the phone by answering product questions, processing orders, and helping ensure a smooth sales and pickup experience.

You will build relationships with customers while supporting showroom and basic warehouse duties.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Excellent customer service attitude and comfortable interacting directly with customers for most of the day.
• Strong computer skills, including the ability to use basic computer systems and MS Office.

Responsibilities

• Assists walk-in and phone customers with product questions, orders, and service needs.
• Accurately enters sales orders, generates invoices, and processes payments or credit authorizations according to company policy.
• Recommend products and solutions based on customer needs and product availability.
• Evaluates and determines disposition of warranty items handled at the counter, as prescribed by the manufacturer’s warranty policy and customer needs.
• Provides an estimated date of delivery to the customer based on knowledge of the vendor’s production and delivery schedules.
• Pulls, stages, and distributes customer orders efficiently, including occasional use of an RF scanner.
• Restocks and replenishes showroom merchandise to maintain product availability and presentation.
• Cross-trains in receiving, shipping, and general warehouse duties to support overall branch operations.
