Job summary

Gillman Home Center is seeking an Inside Sales Specialist to assist customers and contractors with project needs. This full-time role requires open availability, including evenings and weekends, and involves processing quotes, orders, and invoices while delivering exceptional service.

You will learn product lines, support sales initiatives, and collaborate with the Sales Manager to resolve issues and ensure customer satisfaction across the store.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED; 1-3 years related experience or training.
• 3+ years in the building materials/construction industry.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers and contractors with project needs and provide excellent service.
• Answer questions, resolve concerns, and advise on project solutions and add-on sales when appropriate.
• Create take-offs, estimates, quotes, orders, and invoices for homes, businesses, and additions.
• Respond to inquiries regarding product selection, orders, prices, and deliveries.
• Follow up with customers from quote through project completion and coordinate with Sales Manager on issues.
