Job summary

Gillman Home Center in Indiana is seeking a Customer Service associate to provide product knowledge, assist customers, and complete transactions at the register. This is a full-time position scheduled for 40 hours per week with days, evenings and weekends offered.

You will stock, price, and front inventory; help with keys, propane, rental transactions, and store maintenance while ensuring safety and courtesy to customers.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• 2+ years of customer service experience.
• 1+ years of retail job experience.
• Product knowledge of items in assigned department.

Responsibilities

• Provide excellent service to customers.
• Greet and assist customers in a positive manner; answer questions and resolve concerns.
• Operate the register and assist with rental transactions as needed.
• Maintain department inventory, pricing, and front-facing presentation.
• Open and close the store as assigned; perform cleaning, stocking and safety checks.
