Job summary

United Rentals is seeking an Inside Sales Representative to serve as the primary customer contact and consultant at our branch. You will recommend solutions, quote, sell, and fulfill orders for equipment and services based on customer needs.

Responsibilities include processing quotations, reservations, and contracts; establishing new rental and sales accounts; negotiating prices; coordinating delivery; generating leads and nurturing dormant accounts; maintaining a clean showroom; and other

Qualifications

• A bachelor's degree or equivalent experience is preferred.
• Strong relationship-building and customer service skills.
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent teamwork, interpersonal, and communication skills.
• Keen attention to detail.
• Valid driver's license with acceptable driving record.
• Safety Sensitive position per company policy.

Responsibilities

• Process rental quotations, reservations, and contracts.
• Establish new rental and sales accounts via walk-in and call-in customers.
• Negotiate prices on rentals and contractor supplies per policy.
• Dispatch delivery trucks and manage delivery expectations.
• Generate leads and share with Outside Sales.
• Warm call on lost/dormant accounts to retain business.
• Maintain a clean showroom, stocked with merchandise.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
