Job summary

Rexel USA is seeking an Inside Sales Representative to join the Decatur, AL team. This role focuses on proactive inside sales via phone and email to grow profitable sales, build customer relationships, process quotes and orders, and expand organic growth within the existing customer base.

Responsibilities include handling product quotations, assisting outside sales, using digital tools for selling and product knowledge, and prospecting for new accounts in a defined territory.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of customer service, sales, or electrical distribution experience.
• High School or GED - Required
• Strong communication and organizational skills.
• Ability to handle multiple tasks and deadlines.
• Willingness to learn product knowledge and apply it to sales.
• Experience with CRM and ERP software is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Process telephone orders by quoting prices, delivery specs, and payment terms.
• Assist outside sales by processing priority transactions.
• Utilize digital tools to sell, market, and demonstrate products to customers.
• Prospect for new accounts within a defined territory and manage existing customers.
• Close orders and resolve issues using root-cause analysis.
• Provide product quotations/proposals and follow up through the purchasing cycle.
