Job summary

Rexel USA in Baton Rouge, LA is seeking an Inside Sales Representative to drive proactive inside sales and relationship building with customers. The role includes processing quotes and orders, expanding product knowledge, and pursuing growth from existing customers.

You will work with outside sales, use digital tools to promote products, and prospect for new accounts within the territory. Experience in customer service or electrical distribution is preferred.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of customer service, sales, or electrical distribution experience.
• High School or GED - Required.

Responsibilities

• Process telephone orders by quoting product prices, delivery specs and terms.
• Assist outside sales personnel by processing priority transactions.
• Utilize company digital tools to sell, market, promote, demonstrate products and answer questions.
• Prospect for new accounts within a specified geographical territory.
• Manage a defined customer base and maintain relationships.
• Close orders and resolve customer issues promptly using root‑cause analysis.
