Job summary

Rexel USA, Inc. in Pasadena, TX is seeking an Inside Sales Representative to drive proactive inside sales and account growth. You will build customer relationships, process quotes and orders, and expand product knowledge to win new business.

You will support outside sales, use ERP/CRM tools, and participate in product training to stay current on offerings. The role requires 2+ years in customer service or sales and a high school diploma.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of customer service, sales, or electrical distribution experience
• High School or GED - Required

Responsibilities

• Process telephone orders by quoting prices, delivery specs, and payment terms; offer substitutes where needed
• Assist outside sales by handling priority transactions
• Utilize digital tools to sell, market, promote, and demonstrate products to new and existing customers
• Prospect for new accounts within a defined geographical territory
• Manage a defined customer base and maintain relationships
• Learn and evaluate customer operations to identify objectives and resolve issues through root-cause analysis
• Prepare quotations/proposals and follow up through the purchasing cycle
• Report market, pricing, products, and trends to management
• Participate in product meetings and training to stay current on offerings
• Pursue product applications using internal/external resources
