Our inside sales training/onboarding program spans 12 weeks and is structured to immerse you in the day-to-day operations of successful cold calling. The initial six weeks are dedicated to foundational training, including Angi’s internal technologies, with opportunities for early graduation based on performance. Transitioning to your sales manager’s team, you'll enter a phase of continued development and lower performance expectations, ensuring you're well-equipped to navigate our sales processes and maximize your potential.

Work Location for Inside Sales Representatives at Angi:

  • Remote Role: This is a remote position and we are seeking candidates who permanently reside in the following states:
    • Alabama, Arizona, Arkansas, Colorado, Florida, Georgia, Indiana, Kansas, Kentucky, Louisiana, Maine, Maryland, Massachusetts, Michigan, Mississippi, Missouri, Nebraska, Nevada, New Jersey, New Mexico, New York, North Carolina, Ohio, Oklahoma, Pennsylvania, Rhode Island, South Carolina, Tennessee, Texas, Utah, or Wisconsin.
    • **Angi currently has an office in the following city/states, 1) Denver, CO, 2) Olathe, KS, 3) Indianapolis, IN and 4) New York City, NY, which are available for use if you reside near these locations.
  • You will need access to an individual hardline high-speed internet connection in your work space. This job cannot be performed from a mobile hotspot.
  • We have a 'camera on' culture for virtual meetings. You must utilize all company provided equipment, including the webcam, for all team communications.

What You’ll Be Responsible For:

  • High-Volume Cold Calls: Engage in up to 200 daily calls nationwide, presenting Angi’s value proposition, our diverse products, and advertising options to service providers.
  • Negotiation and Trust Building: Overcome objections and negotiate advertising solutions, fostering trust and understanding the unique needs of each service provider.
  • Provider Coaching: Advise service providers on how to cultivate lasting relationships with homeowners, turning service requests into lifelong consumer connections.
  • Process Guidance: Walk service providers through the background check authorization and approval process, ensuring a smooth onboarding.
  • Sales Targets: Meet and exceed required sales targets, taking responsibility for the number of units sold weekly (Angi Leads) and/or contract value sold biweekly (Angi Ads).

Joining Our Team Requires:

  • Educational and Experience Background: A Bachelor's degree or at least 2+ years of sales or customer-facing experience. A High School Diploma or GED is also required.
  • Sales Drive: A strong motivation to surpass sales goals, with a passion for excellence and a results-driven mindset.
  • Communication Skills: Exceptional ability to build rapport quickly, engage in active listening, and communicate confidently.
  • Team Contribution: A commitment to improving and contributing to team success, understanding the value of feedback and continuous personal growth.

  • Operational Skills: Proficiency in multi-tasking and working independently with strong attention to detail.
  • Technical Requirements: Ability to use a phone headset for up to 8 hours per day and all company-provided equipment, including a webcam, for team communications.

Benefits + Compensation - What We Offer:

  • $36,000 - $80,000 (uncapped commission + a base salary of $36,000)
    • Average first year annual earnings $70,000 - $80,000, with the top 10% earning as much as $200,000+
    • Ongoing bonus compensation opportunities and incentives during the new hire training period
    • We offer a progression plan based on performance, including title promotions
  • Fully paid training: Comprehensive training program and the ability to apply for our management training program after 6 months of employment
