Carter Lumber is seeking an Inside Sales Rep who will be the friendly face customers rely on in the store, providing product information, advice, and transaction processing. Training will cover our products and POS system, with a commission-based pay structure and no cap on earnings.

You will follow up on online quotes, qualify new leads, support Outside Sales Reps, and help with inventory control, ensuring sales and profit goals are met. A team-first attitude is essential.

Qualifications

• Experience in sales or customer service.
• Friendly, outgoing personality.
• Effective communication skills.
• Familiarity with building materials is helpful, but not required.

Responsabilités

• Assist customers when they walk in and share product information.
• Provide advice on project needs and produce estimates for packages/projects.
• Process transactions and follow up on online quotes.
• Qualify new leads through cold calling and support Outside Sales Reps.
• Assist in inventory control and resolve overages/shortages.
