Carter Lumber Company in Burton, MI is seeking an Inside Sales Rep (ISR) who will be the friendly face in the store, guiding customers, sharing product information, and helping with estimates for packages and projects. You will process transactions, follow up on online quotes, and qualify new leads while supporting our Outside Sales Reps and managing inventory.

Salary plus commission motivates uncapped earnings.

Qualifications

• Experience working in sales or customer service.
• Friendly, outgoing personality.

• Familiarity with building materials is helpful, but not required.

• Ability to ensure sales and profit goals are met.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers in-store with product information and project needs.
• Produce estimates for packages and projects; process transactions.
• Follow up on online quotes and qualify new leads via cold calls.
• Support Outside Sales Reps as needed and assist in inventory control.
• Conduct cycle counts and resolve overages/shortages.
