Carter Lumber in Ohio is seeking an Inside Sales Rep (ISR) to be the face of the store, assisting customers with product information, quotes, and transactions. You will build relationships, share project advice, and qualify leads.

The role includes following up online quotes, supporting Outside Sales Reps, conducting cycle counts, and helping with inventory control. A friendly, team-oriented attitude and solid communication are essential; commission-based pay with unlimited earnings.

Qualifications

• Experience working in sales or customer service.
• Friendly, outgoing personality.
• Effective communication skills.
• Familiarity with building materials is helpful, but not required.
• Ability to be a team player.
• Ability to ensure sales and profit goals are met.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers who walk in the store and share product information.
• Provide advice on project needs, produce estimates, and process transactions.
• Follow up on online quotes and qualify new leads through cold calls.
• Support Outside Sales Reps as needed and assist in inventory control.
• Conduct cycle counts and resolve overages/shortages.
