Job summary

Davis-Standard, a global leader in extrusion and converting technology, seeks an Inside Sales Representative in Connecticut. You will manage transactional accounts, respond to inquiries, and work to grow profitable sales in the assigned territory by retaining existing business and uncovering new opportunities.

You will build rapport with customers, process quotes and orders in the ERP system, upsell services, and collaborate with internal teams to meet quotas.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years Inside sales experience.
• Strong communications in English, verbal and written.
• Ability to read mechanical and electrical drawings.
• Proficient with MS Office and ERP systems.

Responsibilities

• Make outbound calls and respond to customer inquiries for spare parts.
• Answer phone calls and emails professionally.
• Accurately confirm replacement parts to meet specifications.
• Upsell services and make product recommendations.
• Enter quotes and orders into ERP system.
• Close sales and meet quotas.
