Foundation Building Materials (FBM) in Hillside, NJ, is hiring an Inside Sales Professional who builds strong customer relationships through expert guidance and exceptional service. From the front counter to tailored solutions, you will be at the heart of our success.

The role requires a high school diploma, 2+ years inside sales, excellent verbal communication, and the ability to juggle multiple tasks. You will enter orders, quotes, and manage showroom inventory while coordinating deliveries

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 2+ years inside sales experience (incoming call preferred).
• Excellent verbal communication skills and telephone manner.
• Ability to focus on different tasks and use time efficiently to achieve desired outcomes.
• Familiarity with Windows operating systems.
• Warehouse work which includes forklift experience/training.

Responsibilities

• Customer Service & Sales Support: maintain professional, courteous communication with customers before, during, and after sales; provide product knowledge and generate quotes.
• Order Management & Communication: enter orders, pricing, and customer data; respond to quotes via multiple channels; collaborate with sales and internal teams.
• Inventory & Showroom Operations: maintain stock levels, organize showroom, schedule inbound/outbound deliveries, negotiate freight rates.
• Cash Handling & System Use: operate and balance the cash register; use billing and project-tracking software.
• Product & Project Knowledge: maintain up-to-date product knowledge; document order details for large or complex projects.
• Logistics & Operations Coordination: coordinate deliveries with Operations; procure special products.
• Trainings: attend all required sales training meetings.
• Miscellaneous: support company values and perform other duties.
