Ohio Cat (A Division of Ohio Machinery Co.) seeks an Inside Sales Representative to sell new and used equipment, rental fleet equipment, attachments and services. The role focuses on meeting opportunity-based sales quotas and excellent client communication.

You will inform customers of current promotions and serve as a resource for equipment knowledge, while acting as a lead qualifier for Outside Sales Representatives. The position emphasizes relationship-building and closing sales.

Qualifications

• A high school diploma or equivalent is required.
• A college degree in a related field is preferred.
• Must have at least two years of sales and customer service experience, preferably within the construction/heavy equipment industry.
• Ability to quote and close sales is required.

Responsibilities

• Sell new and used equipment, rental fleet equipment, attachments and services through achievement of opportunity-based sales quotas.
• Reach business targets through excellent in-person and telephone communication skills.
• Inform customers of current promotions and act as a resource for equipment knowledge to the customer.
• Serve as a sales lead qualifier for Outside Sales Representatives.
