Rexel USA is seeking an Inside Sales Representative to join the Mayer team in Columbus, OH. The role focuses on proactive inside telephone or email sales, building customer relationships, processing quotes and orders, and expanding organic growth within the customer base.

Responsibilities include handling inquiries, supporting outside sales, using ERP/CRM tools, and pursuing new accounts in the assigned territory.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of customer service, sales, or electrical distribution experience
• High School or GED - Required

Responsibilities

• Process telephone orders by quoting prices, delivery terms and payment terms
• Assist outside sales by processing priority transactions
• Use digital tools to sell, market, promote, demonstrate products, answer technical questions, and increase business
• Prospect for new accounts within a defined geographical territory
• Manage a defined customer base and maintain relationships
• Close orders and resolve issues using root-cause analysis
• Process product quotations/proposals and follow up through purchasing cycle
• Report to management on market trends and competitors
