Job summary

United Rentals, Inc. is seeking an Inside Sales Rep to help grow branch revenue through equipment rentals, sales, and exceptional customer service. You will manage telemarketing, call‑in customers, and coordinate daily branch operations to ensure accuracy and efficiency.

Qualifications

• Associate’s degree or equivalent combination of experience and education (Bachelor’s degree preferred).
• Strong customer service orientation and sales experience.
• Proficiency with MS Office (Word and Excel).
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Engineering aptitude: ability to size, quote, install and maintain large projects.
• Valid driver’s license with acceptable driving record.

Responsibilities

• Establish understanding of rental business for specialty engineered rental products and services.
• Establish new rental and sales accounts through telemarketing and by serving call‑in customers.
• Process rental quotations, reservations, contracts and invoices per policies.
• Educate customers on proper equipment usage and safety procedures.
• Ensure accuracy of all contract information in the system.
• Coordinate and track daily equipment pickups and returns.
• Run reports to monitor equipment and facilitate operations.
• Coordinate with branch staff to deliver customer satisfaction.
• Maintain inventory records of branch assets.
