Job summary

United Rentals, Inc. is seeking an Inside Sales Rep at our local branch to serve as a key customer contact and consultant, recommending solutions, quoting, selling and fulfilling orders.

You’ll establish new rental and sales accounts, negotiate prices, dispatch deliveries and generate leads while building relationships and delivering outstanding customer service.

This safety-sensitive role offers growth, training and a team-focused environment at the world’s largest equipment rental provider.

Responsibilities

• Process rental quotations, reservations and contracts
• Establish new rental and sales accounts by serving walk-in and call-in customers
• Negotiate prices on equipment rentals and contractor supplies
• Dispatch delivery trucks and manage customer delivery expectations
• Generate leads for new business and communicate leads with Outside Sales Representatives
• Warm call on lost/dormant accounts to retain business
• Maintain a showroom stocked with merchandise
• Other duties as needed
