Job summary

United Rentals is seeking an Inside Sales Rep in Abilene, TX. You will serve as a key customer contact and consultant at our branch, recommending solutions, quoting, selling and fulfilling orders based on customer needs. You’ll build relationships, drive sales and support branch growth.

You’ll negotiate prices, dispatch deliveries, manage expectations, and generate leads while keeping the showroom well-stocked and organized. A Bachelor's degree is preferred or equivalent experience.

Responsibilities

• Process rental quotations, reservations and contracts.
• Establish new rental and sales accounts by serving walk-in and call-in customers.
• Negotiate prices on equipment rentals and contractor supplies.
• Dispatch delivery trucks and manage customer expectations regarding delivery.
• Generate leads for new business and communicate with Outside Sales Representatives.
• Warm call on lost/dormant accounts to retain business.
• Maintain a clean, presentable showroom with stocked merchandise.
