Rexel USA in Lexington, KY is seeking an Inside Sales Representative to join our Rexel USA team. The role focuses on proactive inside telephone or email sales, maintaining customer relationships, processing quotes and orders, and expanding organic growth from the existing customer base.

You will use digital tools to sell, assist outside sales, and discuss product knowledge, pricing, and delivery terms, while meeting customer objectives and resolving issues promptly.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of customer service, sales, or electrical distribution experience
• High School or GED - Required

Responsibilities

• Process quotes and orders, quoting prices and terms
• Support outside sales by processing priority transactions
• Use digital tools to sell, promote, and answer questions
• Prospect for new accounts within a geographic territory
• Maintain and grow a defined customer base
• Learn customer operations to identify objectives and resolve issues via root-cause analysis
• Prepare quotations/proposals and follow up through purchase cycle
• Report market and competitive information to management
• Participate in product meetings and training to maintain knowledge
• May perform other duties within a branch when required
