Job summary

Dobbs Equipment, LLC in Melbourne, FL seeks an Inside Sales Representative to drive sale, rental, and leasing of John Deere Compact Equipment. You will identify new and dormant accounts to grow revenue in the CCE segment and provide product recommendations.

Responsibilities include prospecting, greeting customers, handling inquiries, quoting and negotiating terms, updating CRM/Dynamics, giving machine demos, and meeting sales quotas.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent from four-year college or a minimum of 1 year related experience preferred but not required.
• Strong communication skills to persuade and negotiate with teammates and customers.
• Fluency in Spanish is preferred but not required.
• Customer focus with ability to meet customer needs and deliver excellent service.

Responsibilities

• Sell John Deere CCE full product line and attachments.
• Prospect dormant, new and walk-in accounts to generate sales.
• Provide demonstrations and machine walk around at dealership.
• Listen to customer requirements and make product recommendations.
• Make outbound calls to leads and maintain timely follow-up (within 24 hours).
• Quote and negotiate prices, terms, and complete sales documentation.
• Maintain CRM/Dynamics records of customers, calls, leads, quotes and sales activity.
• Meet or exceed sales quotas and participate in training and meetings.
• Evaluate used equipment for trade-in value when requested.
