Job summary

Dobbs Equipment is seeking an Inside Sales Representative in Ladson, SC to drive the sale, rental, and leasing of John Deere Compact Equipment. This role focuses on identifying new and dormant accounts to grow revenue in the compact construction equipment segment.

The position requires proactive prospecting, product knowledge, strong communication, and CRM/Dynamics usage to meet or exceed sales quotas while adhering to safety policies. Training and ongoing sales meetings are part of the role.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent from four-year college.
• Strong communication skills and ability to negotiate.
• Fluency in Spanish preferred but not required.
• Customer-focused with strong service orientation.
• Proficient with MS Office, Excel, Outlook and Dynamics.
• Self-motivated with strong problem-solving skills.
• Ability to perform basic arithmetic with decimals.
• Quick learner.

Responsibilities

• Sell John Deere CCE and related attachments.
• Prospect new, dormant, and walk-in accounts.
• Greet customers and assess requirements; provide recommendations.
• Make calls to identified accounts and promote products and services.
• Ensure quotes and leads are followed up within 24 hours.
• Quote and negotiate prices and complete sales documentation.
• Maintain CRM/Dynamics records of customers and activity.
• Provide demonstrations and walk-arounds.
• Meet or exceed sales targets.
• Attend trainings and sales meetings.
