Job summary

Arrow Building Center, Lampert Lumber and Lyman Lumber Companies, divisions of US LBM, provide building materials to construction professionals with local service and national scale.

Inside Sales Representative supports new and existing customers, providing quotes and product information both in person and over the phone. Pay rate ranges from $20 to $25 per hour, depending on experience, with an emphasis on timely quotes and accurate order processing.

Qualifications

• Excellent interpersonal and customer relations skills.
• Strong oral and written communication abilities.
• Ability to operate computer, calculator, and cash register.

Responsibilities

• Respond to customer inquiries regarding product selection, order placement, pricing and quotations, complaints, and delivery scheduling.
• Initiate calls to customers to generate sales.
• Obtain orders from customers and sales representatives; enter work orders and related documents.
• Coordinate purchase and delivery of special products; gather pricing, specifications, uses and availability.
• Schedule projects by coordinating with outside sales, jobsites, and customers.
• Maintain stock levels on sales floor and stockroom.
• Research credits, returns, and late payments as needed.
• Check back orders and resolve issues; assist with pricing and price lists.
• Develop and grow professional relationships with customers; resolve jobsite issues.
