Job summary

Arrow Building Center, Lampert Lumber and Lyman Lumber Companies, divisions of US LBM, are hiring an Inside Sales Representative to assist with new and existing customer sales and provide product support to outside sales. The role involves quoting, product information, and coordination of deliveries.

The position offers a pay rate of $18.00 - $21.00 per hour and requires 1-3 years in building material sales, plus a High School Diploma or GED. Prior experience in inside sales is preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 1-3 years in building material industry preferred.
• 1-3 years inside sales experience preferred.
• Basic knowledge of product and application required.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Respond to customer inquiries regarding product selection, orders, prices and quotations, complaints, and deliveries.
• Initiate telephone calls to customers to generate sales.
• Obtain orders from customers and sales reps; enter work orders and service requests.
• Coordinate purchase and delivery of special products; obtain pricing specs and availability.
• Manage schedules for projects by coordinating with outside sales and customers.
• Maintain stock levels on sales floor and in stockroom.
• Research credits, returns, and late payments as needed.
• Check back orders and resolve issues; assist with pricing lists.
• Develop and grow professional customer relationships; resolve jobsite issues.
