Job summary

Arrow Building Center, Lampert Lumber and Lyman Lumber Companies, divisions of US LBM, is seeking an Inside Sales Representative to assist with new and existing customer sales and provide product support to outside sales reps. The role involves quotes, product dimension information and quoting inquiries, in person or by phone.

Pay rate is $20-$25 per hour, depending on experience. The position requires a High School Diploma or GED and 1–3 years in the building material industry.

Qualifications

• Strong interpersonal and written/oral communication abilities.
• Experience in customer-facing roles or inside sales preferred.
• Familiar with building supplies and related applications is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Respond to customer inquiries regarding product selection, pricing and quotations.
• Initiate calls to customers to generate sales and obtain orders.
• Enter work orders, returns, credits and service requests; file paperwork.
• Coordinate purchase and delivery of special products and pricing specifications.
• Manage project schedules by coordinating with outside sales, jobsites and customers.
• Maintain stock levels on sales floor and stockroom.
• Resolve billing issues and research credits or late payments.
