Job summary

Arrow Building Center, Lampert Lumber and Lyman Lumber Companies, divisions of US LBM Holdings, LLC, seek an Inside Sales Representative to assist with new and existing customer sales and provide product support to outside sales reps. This role handles quotes, product dimensions, and order entry, in person and by phone.

The position offers a $23.00–$26.00/hour pay rate depending on experience and requires 1–3 years in the building materials industry with solid communication skills.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 1-3 years in building material industry with basic product knowledge.
• 1-3 years inside sales experience preferred.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Strong interpersonal skills and customer relations.

Responsibilities

• Respond to customer inquiries regarding product selection, orders, prices, quotations, complaints, and deliveries.
• Initiate telephone calls to customers to generate sales.
• Enter work orders, returns, price lists, and service requests; file paperwork accordingly.
• Coordinate purchase and delivery of special products and obtain pricing specs.
• Manage project schedules with outside sales, jobsites, and customers.
• Maintain stock levels on the sales floor and in the stockroom.
• Research credits, returns, and late payments as needed.
• Check back orders and resolve issues; resolve billing problems and data for closing.
• Handle special orders and advanced pricing; assist with pricing lists.
• Develop and grow professional relationships with customers.
• Resolve jobsite issues and customer problems.
• Maintain attendance as per policy.
