Job summary

QXO in Portland, ME is seeking an Inside Sales Representative to deliver outstanding customer service while supporting sales growth through product knowledge, quotes, and order management. You will be the primary contact for contractors, builders, homeowners, and commercial customers, coordinating with Outside Sales and operations to ensure accurate, timely orders and a great customer experience.

The role favors front-line sales or customer service experience, with construction knowledge a plus

Qualifications

• Front-line customer service and sales experience.
• Construction/building materials industry a plus.
• Spanish bilingual proficiency a plus.
• Strong communication and follow-up with customers, vendors, team members, and management.
• Ability to learn extensive product information.

Responsibilities

• Receive and process price quotes, orders, returns, cancellations, product information and availability, billing inquiries, and corrections.
• Plan and implement telemarketing and prospecting objectives.
• Coordinate delivery and pickup of orders with operations teams.
• Provide support to Outside Sales team.
• Adhere to pricing guidelines and policies of customer financial services.
