Job summary

QXO is seeking an Inside Sales Representative to serve as the primary contact for contractors, builders, homeowners, and commercial customers. You will provide product knowledge, quotations, order processing, and project support across a cross-functional team to ensure accurate and timely orders.

Role requires strong communication, organizational skills, and a proactive approach to problem solving in a fast-paced, office-based environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum high school diploma or equivalent; additional business/construction coursework is a plus.
• Proven customer service and sales support experience is preferred.
• Experience with building materials or related industries is a plus.
• Knowledge of ERP and CRM systems is beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary contact for customers via phone, email, and walk-ins.
• Process quotes, orders, returns, credits, and exchanges accurately.
• Coordinate with warehouse, purchasing, and delivery teams to fulfill orders.
• Build strong relationships with contractors, builders, homeowners, and vendors.
• Provide accurate pricing and product recommendations to support project goals.
• Assist Outside Sales with quotations and account management.
