Job summary

IDEX Corporation in Colorado is seeking an Inside Sales Manager to lead the site's Inside Sales team and optimize customer order lifecycle processes. You will partner with the Commercial team to ensure timely quotations, pricing, and execution while driving continuous improvement across cross-functional groups.

The role requires 5+ years in related functions, strong leadership, ERP/CRM experience, and a focus on customer experience and operational excellence.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in business, engineering, supply chain, or related field.
• 5+ years in inside sales, customer service, order management, or related function.
• Experience leading, coaching, and developing employees.
• Experience using ERP and CRM systems; JD Edwards preferred.
• Experience supporting domestic and international customers.

Responsibilities

• Lead, coach, and manage Inside Sales team performance.
• Oversee customer inquiries, quotations, orders, and issue resolution.
• Ensure accurate pricing, specs, and documentation.
• Maintain a less than 3 business day turnaround loop for new orders.
• Develop team capability through coaching, cross-training, succession planning, and performance development.
• Oversee daily Inside Sales activities, including customer inquiries and order management.
• Coordinate with cross-functional stakeholders to resolve issues affecting customer commitments.
• Drive 80/20 optimization and workflow improvements for orders and opportunities.
