Job summary

Wesco is seeking a Manager - Inside Sales to lead the inside sales team, align with field sales, and drive profitability. You will recruit, train, and coach staff while developing strategies to expand the customer base and improve service quality.

You will work with branch leadership to implement sales plans, monitor performance, and ensure strong client satisfaction. The role requires strategic thinking and strong communication in a fast-paced distribution environment.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma required; Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• 2 years of inside sales management experience required.
• 4 years in inside sales management with distribution industry experience preferred.
• 4 years creating new sales channels and leading coaching initiatives.
• Experience mentoring sales teams; strong customer service orientation.
• Knowledge of wholesale distribution products and markets preferred.
• Strong sales, consultative, and communication skills; cross-functional collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Execute and manage the branch sales plan to meet goals and profitability.
• Strategically partner with supplier partners to drive mutual growth.
• Coach and mentor inside sales personnel and drive performance.
• Provide customer-focused solutions to achieve client goals and expand the base.
• Coordinate with field sales and inside sales leaders for effective communication.
• Maintain key account contact and high client satisfaction.
• Oversee performance, development, and one-on-one reviews for the team.
• Develop action plans for lead generation and sales opportunities.
• Identify new sales initiatives and penetration strategies for markets.
• Support marketing plans and cross-divisional sales activities.
• Maintain pricing, sales, and activity records.
