Company, a major player in the casting and machining industry, is seeking an Inside Sales Engineer in Milwaukee. The role focuses on becoming an expert in client businesses to drive sales, with a strong training program and growth opportunities.

The candidate will develop quotes, manage customer relationships, and work with field and territory sales to expand the business. Travel is limited to quarterly visits.

Qualifications

• BS degree in Mechanical, Materials or Industrial Engineering and a solid track record of customer facing work experience.
• 2+ years in a technically oriented role, preferably casting, machining, metal or materials process operation.
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written; able to call customers and colleagues as needed.

Responsibilities

• Develop quotes and generate proposals for customer parts.
• Manage accounts to increase sales and address client needs.
• Collaborate with field, territory, and inside sales to grow business; 75% existing customers, 20% up-sell, 5% new business development.
• Lead projects through the sales cycle and coordinate with all departments to achieve goals.
• Limited travel, about once per quarter.
