Job summary

Company – A major player in the casting and machining industry in Milwaukee seeks an Inside Sales Engineer to become an expert for key clients in aerospace, defense, petrochemical, and industrial equipment markets. You will develop quotes, manage accounts, and collaborate with field and territory sales to grow revenue, with most work from existing clients and limited travel.

Qualifications

• BS degree in Mechanical, Materials or Industrial Engineering with solid customer-facing experience.
• 2+ years in a technically oriented role (casting, machining, metal or materials process).
• Demonstrated passion for growing career and interfacing with customers and team members.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Job shop experience a plus; foundry experience a plus.

Responsibilities

• Develop quotes and generate proposals for the parts the customer wants.
• Be an account manager for your customers to increase sales and serve their needs and provide answers to their questions.
• Collaborate with field and territory sales to drive growth; approximately 75% existing clients, 20% from existing clients, 5% new business development.
• Lead projects through the sales cycle and coordinate with all departments to achieve objectives.
• Travel limited to about once per quarter.
