CareerNerds, LLC in Milwaukee is seeking an Inside Sales Engineer to join a 12-person team and become an expert in your clients’ business to better serve their needs and increase sales. The role emphasizes account management, quotes, and collaboration across field and territory sales.

Ideal candidates have a BS in Mechanical, Materials or Industrial Engineering with 2+ years in a technically oriented role and strong communication skills.

Qualifications

• BS degree in Mechanical, Materials or Industrial Engineering with customer-facing experience.
• 2+ years in a technically oriented role (casting, machining, metal or materials).
• Strong communication, verbal and written; ability to contact customers.

Responsibilities

• Develop quotes and generate proposals for parts the customer wants.
• Be an account manager for customers to increase sales and respond to their questions.
• Work with field and territory sales to grow the business; 75% existing clients, 20% existing clients and 5% new business development.
• Manage projects through the full sales cycle and interface with all departments to accomplish work.
• Limited travel, about once per quarter.
