Job summary

Instrumentation and Controls, LLC (IAC) in Chandler, Arizona, is seeking an Inside Sales Engineer to work with account managers to grow existing customers, create new ones, and meet monthly sales quotas while maintaining gross margin.

You will handle orders in NetSuite CRM/ERP, provide product and technical information, cross-sell and up-sell, and coordinate with suppliers and manufacturers to ensure on-time delivery, while delivering excellent customer service.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering strongly preferred; otherwise an associate degree with relevant experience.
• Minimum 2 years in a similar position if no engineering degree.
• Product/applications experience required; MS Office and distribution software knowledge helpful.
• Excellent customer service, time management, and problem-solving abilities.

Responsibilities

• Generate new and repeat sales and increase order size through cross-selling and add-ons.
• Provide product and technical information and recommend alternate products as needed.
• Process orders, quotes, or returns in NetSuite CRM/ERP and with manufacturers.
• Keep customer records up to date and follow up on quotations and deliveries.
• Stay current on products by vendor training, trade shows, and journals.
