Job summary

POOLCORP seeks an Inside Sales Associate in North Charleston to enhance the customer experience. You will help customers at the counter and over the phone, answer questions, process orders, and suggest suitable products. You will support showroom and basic warehouse tasks as part of a collaborative team.

The role emphasizes customer service, product knowledge, and teamwork in a fast-paced environment, with a comprehensive benefits package and training opportunities.

Qualifications

• Excellent customer service attitude and comfortable interacting with customers for most of the day.
• Strong computer skills, including the ability to use MS Office.
• Ability to safely move products weighing up to 100 lbs. using equipment such as a dolly.

Responsibilities

• Assist walk-in and phone customers with product questions, orders, and service needs.
• Enter sales orders, generate invoices, and process payments or credit authorizations.
• Recommend products and solutions based on customer needs and product availability.
• Determine disposition of warranty items per manufacturer policy and customer needs.
• Provide estimated delivery dates based on vendor schedules.
• Pull, stage, and distribute customer orders; use RF scanner as needed.
• Restock showroom merchandise to maintain availability and presentation.
• Cross-train in receiving, shipping, and general warehouse duties.
