Job summary

POOLCORP in Massachusetts seeks an Inside Sales Associate to be the friendly, hands‑on face of our customer experience. You will assist at the counter and on the phone, process orders, and help ensure smooth sales and pickup experiences while building strong customer relationships across showroom and warehouse operations.

The role emphasizes product knowledge, fast service, and teamwork in a busy branch environment.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Excellent customer service attitude and comfortable interacting directly with customers for most of the day.
• Strong computer skills, including the ability to use basic computer systems and MS Office.
• Ability to safely move products weighing up to 100 lbs. using equipment such as a dolly.

Responsibilities

• Assist walk‑in and phone customers with product questions, orders, and service needs.
• Enter sales orders, generate invoices, and process payments or credit authorizations according to policy.
• Recommend products and solutions based on customer needs and product availability.
• Provide an estimated date of delivery based on vendor schedules.
• Pull, stage, and distribute customer orders efficiently, including RF scanner use.
• Restock showroom merchandise and support warehouse duties as needed.
