Job summary

POOLCORP, located in Charleston, SC, is seeking an Inside Sales Associate to assist customers at the counter and over the phone, processing orders, answering questions, and recommending solutions. You will support showroom and basic warehouse operations while building strong customer relationships.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older.
• Excellent customer service attitude and comfortable interacting with customers.
• Strong computer skills, including basic MS Office usage.
• Ability to safely move products weighing up to 100 lbs. with a dolly.
• High school diploma or GED preferred; 1+ years inside sales experience helpful.

Responsibilities

• Assist walk-in and phone customers with questions, orders, and service needs.
• Enter sales orders, generate invoices, and process payments/credit authorizations.
• Recommend products based on customer needs and availability.
• Evaluate disposition of warranty items per policy and customer needs.
• Provide estimated delivery dates based on vendor schedules.
• Pull, stage, and distribute customer orders; use RF scanner as needed.
• Restock showroom merchandise and support warehouse duties.
