Job summary

Intertek is looking for an Inside Sales - Client Champion to expand our Building & Construction Products business in Plano, TX. You will drive direct sales, grow existing accounts and identify new opportunities for Testing & Certification services among manufacturers and influencers in the Building Product space.

You will manage quotations, proposals, and inquiries in the CRM, perform prospecting, and work with marketing and operations to grow the territory.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 1+ years of experience in Building and Construction Products industry.
• 1+ years of experience in B2B sales.
• Self-motivated, assertive, and able to work independently.
• Excellent verbal communication and telephone manner.

Responsibilities

• Receive inquiries and process quotations and opportunities.
• Prepare proposals based on customer needs within the CRM system.
• Follow up on all proposals.
• Conduct prospecting activities including cold calling and existing client connections.
• Use CRM to track sales activities, quoting, orders won and revenue.
• Work with Sales Management to define and develop territory for growth.
• Collaborate with Operations to manage opportunities.
• Conduct tours of facilities.
• Respond swiftly to customer requests.
• Coordinate with marketing for events, webinars and papers.
• Other duties as assigned.
