Job summary

Intertek’s Elmendorf lab (Texas) is hiring an Inside Sales - Client Champion for the Building & Construction Products team. You will drive direct sales, grow existing accounts and develop new business opportunities, selling Testing & Certification services to manufacturers and influencers in the Building Product space.

This role offers a competitive base wage, plus a Quarterly Order Incentive Bonus, and a comprehensive benefits package including medical, dental, vision, life, disability, 401(k)

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 1+ years of relevant experience in Building and Construction Products industry.
• 1+ years of experience in B2B sales.
• Self-motivated, assertive, and ability to work independently.
• Excellent verbal communication skills and telephone manner.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.
• Working knowledge of personal computers and MS Office software and prior experience with sales CRM.

Responsibilities

• Receive incoming customer inquiries and process quotations and opportunities.
• Prepare proposals based on customer needs within the CRM system.
• Follow up on all proposals.
• Conduct prospecting activities, including cold calling and leveraging existing client connections.
• Use the CRM to track sales activities, quotations, orders, and revenue.
• Collaborate with management to define and develop territory to increase sales.
• Work with operations to manage opportunities.
• Conduct facility tours and respond promptly to customer requests.
• Collaborate with marketing on tradeshows, meetings, webinars and white papers.
