Job summary

Intertek is seeking an enthusiastic Inside Sales - Client Champion for our Building & Construction Products team at Elmendorf, Texas. This position focuses on direct sales activity, expanding existing accounts and developing new business opportunities within the Building Product space.

The role involves preparing proposals, handling inquiries, conducting prospecting, using the CRM to track activities, and collaborating with sales and marketing to grow territory.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 1+ years of experience in Building and Construction Products industry.
• 1+ years of experience in B2B sales.
• Excellent verbal communication and telephone manner.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.
• Working knowledge of PCs, MS Office, and CRM.

Responsibilities

• Receive incoming customer inquiries and process quotations and direction of opportunities.
• Prepare proposals based on customer needs within the CRM system.
• Follow up on all proposals.
• Conduct prospecting activities, including cold calling and leveraging existing client connections.
• Use the CRM to track all sales activities, quoting activity, orders won and revenue generated.
• Work with Sales Management to define and develop territory to increase new and existing sales.
• Collaborate with Operational Sales personnel to manage opportunities by territory.
• Conduct tours of facilities.
• Respond swiftly and courteously to customer requests.
• Collaborate with marketing for tradeshows, meetings, webinars, white papers, etc.
