Job summary

Intertek in Elmendorf, Texas is seeking an Inside Sales - Client Champion to grow sales of Testing & Certification services within the Building & Construction Products space. This role focuses on direct sales, developing new opportunities, and expanding existing accounts with manufacturers and influencers.

You will manage inquiries, prepare proposals in the CRM, conduct prospecting, and coordinate with marketing and operations to drive territory growth.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 1+ years of experience in Building and Construction Products industry.
• 1+ years of experience in B2B sales.
• Self-motivated, assertive, and able to work independently.
• Excellent verbal communication skills and telephone manner.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.

Responsibilities

• Receive incoming customer inquiries, and process quotations and direction of opportunities.
• Prepare proposals based on customer needs within the CRM system.
• Follow up on all proposals.
• Conduct prospecting activities, including cold calling and existing client connections.
• Use online CRM to track sales activities, quotes, orders, and revenue.
• Collaborate with sales and operations to grow the territory.
• Conduct tours of facilities, respond promptly to customer requests.
