Job summary

POOLCORP in Lakeland, FL, is hiring an Inside Sales Associate to assist customers at the counter and over the phone, answer product questions, process orders, and help ensure a smooth sales and pickup experience.

You will build relationships with customers, support showroom and basic warehouse tasks, recommend products, enter orders, generate invoices, handle payments, and help with warranty items and delivery estimates.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Strong customer service attitude and comfortable interacting with customers most of the day.
• Solid computer skills, including MS Office and basic computer systems.
• Ability to lift up to 100 lbs with appropriate equipment.

Responsibilities

• Assist walk-in and phone customers with product questions, orders and service needs.
• Enter sales orders, generate invoices, and process payments or credit authorizations per policy.
• Recommend products and solutions based on customer needs and product availability.
• Evaluate warranty items per manufacturer policy and customer needs.
• Provide estimated delivery dates based on vendor production/delivery schedules.
• Pull, stage, and distribute customer orders; restock showroom merchandise.
• Cross-train in receiving, shipping, and warehouse duties to support branch operations.
