Qualifications

• Undergraduate degree in any specialty is preferred.
• No metal industry or sales experience necessary; training provided.
• Effective communication skills in verbal and written form.
• Experience with Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and Word.
• Willingness to learn Metalware, the proprietary program.
• Demonstrated time management skills.
• Knowledge of basic math is essential.

Responsibilities

• Engages in high level customer service by delivering quotation responses and managing orders to ensure satisfaction.
• Develops and sustains supplier and customer relationships to maintain competitive position.
• Works with Territory Manager to grow new business and meet budget targets.
• Plans and organizes workload to maximize productivity.
• Reviews market analyses to determine customer needs, volume potential, price schedules, and discounts.
• Assists in developing sales campaigns with Territory Manager to meet goals.
